December 2009

GIS announce that the Handy H440/H450 reader has gained full accreditation from ITSO for Version 2.1.3 of specification. Ron van der Hoorn, Managing Director said: "We are thrilled to have passed this significant milestone and being able to supply accredited handheld validators to our valued customers". August 2009

GIS are proud to announce the H460. The latest addition to their ever growing range of contactless smartcard readers which features a quad band GPRS modem with SMS support. A larger capacity Lithium Polymer battery provides excellent battery life. The reader is fully software compatible with the Handy H440/H450 readers.

GIS announce that their Handy H440 reader has gained accreditation from ITSO for Version 2.1.3 of the ITSO specification and is now able to create and modify IPE's. GIS announce that their Handy H440 reader has been selected by Cubic to replace their current Oyster inspector readers to enable faster reading and greater levels of security in the future. Commenting on the announcement, Ron van der Hoorn, Managing Director said: "We are very pleased and excited to be selected by Cubic to supply a significant number of handheld readers".
