ITSO POST2HOPS Software
GIS has developed a Windows™ application which will allow the H440 and H450 readers to communicate with an ITSO HOPS.
The Post to Hops transmission tool is designed to allow management of data transmission between a remote ITSO HOPS server and the GIS family of Handy 400 series smart card readers (Point Of Service Terminals).
Currently the latest version of the Post to Hops tool is compatible with HOPS servers supplied by ECEBS, VIX and ACT.
The data can either be secured using a VPN or by HTTPS with SSH security certificates. This transmission of data includes an upload of data from the Handy 440/450 to the HOPS server (Class 0, 2 & 3 messages), and a download from the HOPS server (Class 1, 2 & 3 messages).
Configuration and software upgrades are also made possible via a remote FTP server.
